R. Scott Zuerker provides legal advice and representation in the defense of cases before the Arkansas Workers' Compensation Commission.  He works with insurance carriers, self-insured and insured employers on a regular basis.  Zuerker provides legal advice and representation to employers and insurance carriers on various issues of Workers' Compensation law, including new developments in the law, compensability, temporary total disability, permanent partial disability, anatomical impairment, vocational rehabilitation, wage loss, Second Injury Fund issues, Death and Permanent Disability Trust Fund issues, return to work issues, subrogation and settlement.

Mr. Zuerker's workers' compensation practice encompasses advising clients before claims are filed, conducting hearings at the administrative law judge level as well as appellate practice before the Full Workers' Compensation Commission, the Arkansas Court of Appeals and the Arkansas Supreme Court.  

Mr. Zuerker has presented numerous educational seminars on various issues in workers' compensation, ranging in scope from individual programs tailored to the needs of a specific corporate client or health care provider to annual seminars sponsored by the Arkansas Bar Association.  In addition, Mr. Zuerker serves as an  Adjunct Professor of Law, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where he teaches Workers' Compensation.
